Give it a little longer, wells. R/C drag racing activity across the country is down from what it was two or so years ago. Forum members still check in from time to time. They'll eventually see your question.

Depends on what you want to run. Single Speed (A51) or 2 speed. (Walbern, GMS).

Personally I would run a GMS.

so the a51 would be considered a direct drive?

Any single speed car without a transmission would be direct drive. Nitro, or electric.
